Fundraising
While APAW receives grants to fund some of our efforts, we also need to raise money for our other endeavors and projects. Some of our major fund raising is achieved through monetary donations, yard sales, recycling newspapers and aluminum cans at recycling bins located throughout the county, raffles, and our annual APAW Fun and Pleasure Horse Show held each spring. We are always looking for new ideas and ways to raise the money we need to support the Amelia County Animal Shelter and continue our efforts to improve the lives of Amelia’s animals.
